Kogoro agrees to conduct an interview with spirit detective Hotta and heads to a hotel with Conan for a meeting. After meeting up with Toto TV`s Kokuri, they go to Hotta`s room, but there`s no answer. As they`re standing outside the room, Kokuri notices an email he received from Hotta saying, "They`re going to kill me. Help."
