Big Falcon was under attack while at the same time so was the Earth Defense Base. Commander Oka had to concentrate to defend his base. Big Falcon, with no commander in charge, was in total chaos. Not to mention that the main computer was malfunction. When the Big Falcon crews had lost all hope and wanted to abandon the base, Dr. Sakunji arrived and took control. He would replace the late Dr. Hamaguchi as head of Big Falcon.
