Hibiki decides to enter a Piano Contest, but becomes uncertain when she learns her Dad is to become a judge for the same competition. Worried about entering, Hibiki's friends and family tell her to think about why she wants to become a pianist. On the day of the contest, Kanade, who had previously asked her father why he started the cake shop, gives Hibiki a special cupcake, saying her dream is to make people smile, encouraging Hibiki to aim for the same dream. As the Minor Trio create a Trumpet Negatone outside, Eren stands alone to stop them from interrupting Hibiki and Kanade's contests. After finishing their concoures, Hibiki and Kanade return to assist Eren in defeating the Negatone. After the concoure is finished, Hibiki asks her Dad to teach her piano like he used to. As Muse continues to feel concerned, Mephisto decides to go to the human world.
