Earth has dispatched other ships (Bismarck, Prince of Wales, and the Arizona) on the same quest as the Star Force`s. Free of Galman attacks, the Argo cruises into Bolar space. Bolar Federation Captain Balkam escorts the Star Force to planet Berth for repairs in return for helping the Legendra. But, Berth is discovered to be a penal colony for followers of the religious figure, Queen Guardiana. Prisoners escape and a few invade the Argo. [
