The series opens as a brave knight defeats an evil looking entity, while surrounded in a fiery sea of flames. Making short work of his foe our hero looks up to the stars and sees something fall into the forest. When he finds the mysterious object he is shocked to discover that it was a baby girl! As he gazes at her his eyes seem to fill with love for this little girl and thus our hero adopts her as is she were his own child. Flash forward seventeen years into the future and Yucie is now all grown up…or is she? It seems that when she reached the age of 10 her body stopped growing beyond that point and so she ended up looking much younger than she actually is. Whether this is some kind of spell put on her or a strange physical ailment is unknown. Today as it turns out is her birthday and her dad has as usual prepared a gigantic feast for his daughter. Unfortunately Yucie doesn't really enjoy the large meals her dad traditionally cooks on her birthday, but she doesn't have the heart to te
