Mei attends a party as a geisha to help Otoyakko. Kyoka is also unwillingly roped into dressing up as a geisha to repay burning the tatami mats. On this evening, a party called a "popular party" is being held at the behest of Iwasaki Tosuke, and Yakumo, Fujita, Syunso, and Ougai are among those in attendance.
