The Macross 7 fleet has entered the orbit of the Earth-like planet Lux, and prepare to rendezvous with the Macross 5 fleet that arrived before them. Citizens of City 7 are forbidden from leaving the ship, which means Basara takes it upon himself to not follow orders and head directly for the surface of Lux with Mylene. They get pulled over and the riveting debate and lawyering over whether Sound Force is under civilian or military jurisdiction is interrupted. Also Basara gets to try his new wireless speaker.
