Stella took Am as a hostage, slamming the condition that she should receive military funds from Amandara and return in time to test Daba. Amandara denies a financial relationship with the regular army to Daba, who hates Amandara as a death merchant. Around that time, Gabley decided that Amandara's spacecraft was a "mysterious space yacht" that was instructed to operate, and launched an attack.
