The Earth Forces launch an attack on Gash’s pirate ship to take back Flore in hopes of handing her over to Planet Marmelo and thus ending the war. However, the Earth Forces are defeated and Takeru is taken captive during the battle. Convinced that power is everything, Gash decides to execute Takeru himself.
