When Conan and his friends come to the department store, Genta is kidnapped by a pair of men, who escape in their van. Conan, Mitsuhiko, and Ayumi find traffic cops Yumi and Naeko, who ask them to pursue Genta`s kidnappers in their mini-patrol car. Conan eavesdrops on the kidnappers` conversation using Genta`s Detective Boys badge. He was kidnapped because he overhead them discussing criminal activity.
