Conan and his friends meet Kitami Saya and Shono Kyona, two actresses competing for popularity on their blogs, at a hotel. Kyona, whose blog features Saya`s secret, is found murdered in her locked hotel room. Based on the conditions at the crime scene and Saya`s actions, Conan believes she is the murderer. Conan gets Saya`s story in room 504 and determines how she entered Kyona`s room and the murder weapon. Later, Conan checks Kyona`s blog again and discovers Saya`s secret.
