The soon to be five year old daughter Reina of black marketing lending company president Saeki and his wife Hiroko is kidnapped. The kidnapper demands they bring a 100 million yen ransom to Beika Central Park. He choosestheir housekeeper Suzuko to transport the money, and Conan finds it odd he didn`t choose a family member. Following Kogoro`s advice, Megure has GPS transmitters attached to the bag containing the ransom money, under the car, and in the brooch on Suzuko`s breast.
