The Lovebirds' Ruse
Mystery writer Kanbayashi falls to his death in the alley between apartment buildings A and B. He fell from the hallway of the fifth floor of building A where his office is located. When he fell, for some reason Kanbayashi changed from his socks into sneakers and was wearing gloves. Megure questions the victim`s wife Seiko and first one to discover the body as well as Sugiyama, building A`s security guard. It seems Kanbayashi and Seiko were a couple of lovebirds.
