It has been a few days since Kariya was defeated, and all of the Jokai Crests have been sealed away. Ichigo and his friends rest until the Senkaimon is prepared so that they can return to the World of the Living. Ichigo and Renji visit the Kuchiki home to see Rukia but she hasn`t fully recovered from her fight with the Bounts. Ichigo and the others reflect on their own pasts as they talk about their experience with the Bounts.
