Granny Anna's intercession for Anselma has landed Nadja in the story of a fallen flamenco dancer, Carmén, who loves José and visits Anselma. Carmen befriends Nadja, prompting her to reunite Carmen and José. As the arena guards are ejecting Nadja (thinking she is an overzealous fan), she sees José drunk after trashing his room and tells him that Carmen still loves him. José and Carmen reconcile, become engaged and see Nadja's flamenco dance.
