Kurihara-san heads to the pool with Momo-kun and his friends, where she`s excited to see Momo-kun in a swimsuit for the first time. On the way home, Momo-kun walks Kurihara-san to her bus stop as usual, but in order to reverse their relationship of her taking the lead all the time, he finally decides to take action! Though he succeeds in stopping Kurihara-san, Momo-kun finds himself unable to lead her properly and is at a loss. Feeling as though Kurihara-san never sees him as a man, without thinking, Momo-kun... Kurihara-san is bewildered when she sees this new side of Momo-kun, and...

Summer vacation ends and the new semester begins. Kurihara-san, who hasn`t seen Momo-kun since their day at the pool, is nervous about seeing Momo-kun again. Thinking she`s acting strangely, Momo-kun calls Kurihara-san that night. Meanwhile, worried about how others perceive Kurihara-san`s actions, Norika secretly investigates Rihito. Momo-kun and Kurihara-san go on a date at the amusement park. Momo-kun does his best to lead Kurihara-san, but he`s so nervous he loses his mind when Kurihara-san clings to his arm in the haunted house. Suddenly, the lights in the haunted house go out, and the two of them are left alone in the darkness.

Momo-kun and Rio are chosen by their class to participate in the music festival`s costume contest. Worried that he`s unable to close the distance between himself and Kurihara-san, Kurihara-san`s lack of jealousy towards him begins to bother Momo-kun. The day of the contest, Kurihara-san is extremely excited to see Momo-kun in costume. Momo-kun loses his patience with Kurihara-san`s total lack of jealousy, jumps off stage, and drags Kurihara-san by the hand up to the roof.

The bond between them has deepened, but when Kurihara-san accidentally confesses that she collects Momo-kun`s used products, she worries that he might not like her anymore. However, Momo-kun invites Kurihara-san to the game center, where he acts differently towards her than normal... Momo-kun eats a lunch made by Kurihara-san. Though the side dishes are all his favorite foods, he finds it strange when can`t recall telling Kurihara-san about them. Kurihara-san has been researching Momo-kun, and behind her research on Momo-kun is a secret collaborator!

Before the second semester`s final exams, Momo-kun`s friends once again come to his house to study. In order to avoid extra classes and retaking the exams over Christmas, Momo-kun does his best to study, but he tragically ends up failing. Meanwhile, Kurihara-san, who was looking forward to Christmas, experiences her own problem... Kurihara-san becomes unable to attend the Christmas Eve party her friends planned when she gets sick. Norika secretly invites Momo-kun to Kurihara-san`s house to comfort her depressed friend. Though Kurihara-san is shocked by his sudden visit, she still wants to be with Momo-kun...

Momo-kun and Kurihara-san go on a hot spring trip with their friends. When Momo-kun gets mixed up with a trio of girls, Kurihara-san sees him surrounded by them at the worst possible time. The girls apologize and make excuses, but Kurihara-san doesn`t seem bothered in the slightest. Unable to conceal his irritation with her, Momo-kun leaves the area. The couple experiences a miscommunication at the hot spring inn. Momo-kun begins to feel his love and Kurihara-san`s love may not be the same thing. Kurihara-san chases after Momo-kun to respond to his direct feelings by confessing everything she feels for him. And when Momo-kun accepts her feelings...
