Princess Akubi, daughter of King Genie, has her job cut out for her. She must begin her royal training in the human world to help elementary school student Kantaro find his dream. Only, he’s not impressed by magic or Akubi’s well-intentioned efforts.

Prince Farty Let's It Rip!

It’s pandemonium in the human world when Akubi’s little brother is released from the magic bottle by an unsuspecting and gassy Kan. But getting the adorable mischief-maker to disappear is a lot harder than eating a couple of sweet potatoes.

Love Is in the Air…from the Vase

Magic and modern tech collide as Akubi’s fascination with smart phones grows. The real chaos begins when Kan’s friend Mario becomes smitten with Akubi’s grown-up disguise. Soon, eye-popping revelations and self-realizations ensue.

Accident, Please!

Kan’s parents meet Akubi and become fast friends, entrusting the genie with breaking the grade-schooler’s slacker streak. Kan’s embarrassment takes off the moment Akubi has the bright idea to visit the airport transformed as adult cabin attendants.

Double Trouble!

Kan is destined for social media stardom! Or at least that’s what Akubi has in mind. To guide Kan toward his dream, Akubi can think of nothing better than posting videos to T-Tube. Also on T-Tube, to everyone’s surprise, is a King Genie lookalike.

Mom Is an Idol!

Kan has been duped by his mom into attending open idol auditions, but it is Akubi and mother dearest who catch the eye of the head recruiter. Kan is then quickly roped into supporting the darling newbie and the lovable blast from the past.

Preschool for Little Bro!

Life takes on a tinge of mayhem when Kan and Akubi get stuck with a needy set of triplets. Then the new weary-eyed guardians come up with a new bright idea: drop the infants off, along with Akubi’s kid bro, at the new A.I.-equipped daycare center.

Ninja Vs. Genie

Ninjas, genies, and a kidnapping, oh my! With his friends and Akubi, Kan reluctantly visits a new ninja theme park on invitation from his wealthy classmate Kaneamari. Surprises soon strike: Kan is recruited for a ninja show, then someone disappears.

Oh No, the Magic Bottle Broke!

Akubi’s mini-internships are wearing thin on loafer Kan. To salvage his free time, Kan glues the magic bottle shut only to accidently summon Akubi’s little brother who shatters the mysterious object to pieces. Can they save the bottle and Akubi?

Kan Turns Into a Dog!

When Kaneamari shows Akubi a smartphone video of the famous dog trainer he plans on hiring to train his bulldog, Akubi’s excitement soars. Before Kan knows it, he is donning a collar and having his furry derriere sniffed by a very stubborn bulldog.

Pirarucu? What's That? Does It Taste Good?

The Yotayamas treat Akubi and family to conveyor-belt sushi, but are soon kicked out and at the doorstep of a traditional sushi bar, thanks to Little Bro. When Akubi and Kan learn business is down, they decide to intervene with a trip to the Amazon.

Dream Date at the Fireworks Festival

The fireworks festival is about to begin, and love is in the air. Mario has fallen for “Akemi,” straining his friendship with Kan. To confess his love, Mario decides to craft his own firework display with the help of his uncle, the pyrotechnician.

Money or Ideas? The Camping Expert!

Amenity-rich luxury and good old-fashioned roughing it collide when the gang’s latest excursion takes them into the wild open wilderness. Kaneamari shows off by “glamping,” swaying some, but Kan and Mario decide to impress Akubi another way.

The Original Kan Is Back!

Kan’s grandpa, Kanichi, is back in Japan for a family vacation, and King Genie and Akubi couldn’t be more surprised. The Kanichi they knew fifty years ago has changed completely, prompting tears of joy from King Genie and unexpected changes in Kan.

It Jumped Out of an Anime!?

Things get surreal with the appearance of King Genie who screams emergency. Kan and Akubi are then swallowed up by a strange void before being transported to an animation studio of all places. They better get to work—their survival depends on it.

Different Things Scare Different People

The elementary school tradition of spiritual cultivation at the temple is underway, and Kan is oddly into it. Meditation and standing under a freezing cold waterfall are all part of the agenda, but nothing compares to what awaits the gang at nightfall.

Robbery at the Mansion. Solving the Case!

Kaneamari is panicked and desperate for Kan and Akubi’s help after ruining his dad’s golf club. Enter cult anime figure Moonlight Phantom Thief. With a little imagination and magic, all seems solved, until a certain self-described detective shows up.

Cake Shop Kan

Pâtisserie has a romantic ring to it, at least according to Akubi, who decides to try her hand at baking with Kan. Surprisingly Kan’s cake impresses, leading him to make a special delivery to a special someone. Prince Farty, however, has other plans.

A Dream Finally Found!

King Genie reports Kan has finally discovered his dream, but Akubi is pulled into the human world before she can hear what it is. While Akubi is about to burst with excitement, Kan is dreaming about winning the railway photo contest he just found.

Episode 20

So Long, Akubi!

Akubi receives completely shocking news from King Genie, which sends Kan into a tailspin too. On their last mini internship together, Kan and Akubi venture into new territory, and the revelations fly.
